I'm Larkin Slaughter. Born and raised in Morgantown, WV. Mojoring in Technical Education. I would like to teach in a middle or high school. I think that the best way for kids to learn is by learning how and why things operate the way they do. It helps give a better understanding of what they're dealing with. For example, we could build a remote control car to see how all of the different components work, and what they do to make the car run.
I totally agree with what you stated. I personally believe that is true. It is important for us to understand the origin of everything around us. The little things like you said like a remote control makes the biggest difference in the littlest way. I like that you want to teach secondary level kids, likewise I feel that is a very important time in there lifes. At this stage it can make a differnce in them forever!
